For 22 years in coffee cultivation in Capelinha, in Chapada de Minas, producer Mariana Valias works alongside her husband Claudio Gutierrez and together they embarked on coffee farming in Minas Gerais. The region has a favorable climate for the cultivation of specialty coffee. Producers understood the magnitude of this production and how much they could add to the market. Today coffee is exported to several countries and the quality is recognized in all regions. Located in the municipality of Capelinha, in Chapada de Minas, production takes place on 180 hectares at an altitude of 900 m. The plantation has a total of 700,000 coffee trees planted.
